Flying Fish

-Little Rock, Arkansas-

Located in the downtown River Market in Arkansas’ capitol, Flying Fish is a local favorite. Their food is far from ordinary. It is served fresh and with a cajun flare. They offer many varieties of seafood including oysters, shrimp, tilapia, catfish, and crawfish. At Flying Fish, the customer is in charge of their plate– you are able to choose how your food is prepared, and the amount of seasoning that you want to be used.

One of Flying Fish’s main highlights is the overall experience. Flying Fish is home to the “Worlds First Billy Bass Adoption Center”. They also encourage their customers to decorate their very own Billy Bass wall-mount in exchange for a free meal.

My view

I have been to Flying Fish many times and I always find something new that I like. I have tried both the grilled and fried fish, and the amount of flavor that is added perfectly compliments the fish and side items that are served. One of my favorite things about this restaurant is the atmosphere. As soon as you finally make it inside the restaurant (due to the long line out the door) there are fake fish everywhere! Some are funny, and some represent families that like to dine there. In the past year, I have added my own fish to the wall that has a Hawaiian theme. I think Flying Fish stands out because it is family friendly, interactive, and the perfect wake up call to your tastebuds.
