Stoby’s

– Conway & Russellville, Arkansas-

LE-Pie-Aug-16-2With only two locations in Arkansas, Stoby’s is a well-known component of Arkansas living. The original location is housed in Conway, Arkansas and the second location is in Russellville, Arkansas. The Russellville location’s building is partially a full-size train car, which creates a very intriguing atmosphere.

Stoby’s features a wide variety of foods; however, they are most famous for their cheese dip and possum pie (a pie with a flaky crust and layers of a cream cheese mixture, chocolate pudding, a cool whip mixture and topped off with pecans). Other menu items include their very popular burgers, french dip, and chicken tacos. Another staple of Stoby’s is their wide selection of breakfast items– these include eggs benedict and the train wreck.

My View

Stoby’s was a staple of my high-school experience, and of general life in Russellville. After any event took place in town, there was a guaranteed group of people that would go to Stoby’s. Their large variety of food, and consistency within the food they prepare are just a few of the reasons that people love to dine here. On many occasions, I have been fortunate enough to try a lot of their menu items from breakfast, to lunch and dinner, to dessert and I have never been disappointed with service or quality of food. I’d advise anyone traveling through the river valley to make a quick stop at Stoby’s for a bite to eat, and my only advice would be to save room for dessert!
